Hello, I am back (unfortunately).

I am back to let you know that a new television series has aired. I present to you: Shrill.

For those of you that have been living under a rock, the protagonist of this series is Aidy Bryant—the SNL cast member. Shrill revolves around a young, plus-sized woman named Annie. Annie is mad insecure as she grew up being criticized for being bigger than the people around her. So, she often times herself being overlooked at her job. She is also in a relationship with someone who is embarrassed to be seen with her in public. However, despite these things, Shrill actually focuses on Annie's growth and acceptance of her physique. It is also important to note that I mainly recommend this series because it is actually funny and realistic. It also serves as a great representation for women who have been dealing with body image.
